About STARmeds Research Award 2021
The 2021 STARmeds Award is a research funding program for Indonesian Students, Lecturers, and Researchers to conduct research on the Topics of Drug Quality: Substandard, Counterfeit, Economic Aspects, Behavior, Marketing, Sample Testing, and other related aspects.
STARMeds (Systematic Tracking of At-Risk Mediciness) is a collaborative research project between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pancasila University, Imperial College and Erasmus University through funding from the United Kingdom National Institute of Health Research.
Requirements
- Participants are time with a maximum of 3 members
- Participants can come from among students, lecturers, researchers, or practitioners in the fields of Health, Health Economics, Health Policy.
- The submitted proposal has never received funding from other institutions.

Research Theme
Quality of Medicines in Indonesia with sub-themes:
- Study of drug quality in chronic and infectious diseases
- Policies that affect drug quality
- Issues related to drug supply chain, drug sample testing, drug marketing behavior.
- The impact of drug quality on health, economic, and social aspects.
